Greetings from the Office of the Principal, B.Sc. Nursing College Dibrugarh.
B.Sc. Nursing College Dibrugarh is a premier educational institution affiliated to the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences. It was established by the Government of Assam in 2010 to cater to the healthcare demands of the people inhabiting the Eastern most region of the country. Our college is motivated to impart quality education and training to students who aspire to serve the mankind as dedicated leaders in the field of nursing profession. The B.Sc. Nursing College Dibrugarh endeavours to provide conducive environment to the learners for embedding competencies in their overall performances and to educate them to become worthy of active participation in the current health care scenario by maintaining professional dignity and ethics.

B.Sc. Nursing College Dibrugarh looks forward to keenly combat the existing and new challenges in the healthcare service sector with absolute professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication. We seek to provide quality nursing education during the four-year long degree curriculum that acts as a strong foundation for future professional advancement. We believe that we contribute to meet the growing needs of the large communities that we serve, in collaboration with the diverse cross-disciplinary units of the health care division.

Our team of highly motivating and experienced faculty update themselves consistently so that they can provide in-depth theoretical teaching and practical training in a range of clinical settings that includes hospitals, clinics and communities. We put special emphasis to ensure that our students inculcate the basic understanding of evidenced based learning and to develop a strong sense of clinical judgment. Students are taught to experience and analyze different issues which are regular in nursing profession.

We trust that we have come a long way as a professional education institution since its inception in 2012, with strong support from the Government of Assam, local administration, and administration of Assam Medical College, our students, teaching as well as the non-teaching and supportive staff. The B.Sc. Nursing College Dibrugarh has reached the epitome of students’ performance with the great effort from the expert faculties under their jurisdiction with full accountability. We are proud of our students who bravely delivered their services during the testing time of covid-19 pandemic situation.

As a truly strong beginning has been made, we believe that the institute will bring more laurels in the years to come and become a guiding light in the domain of nursing education within the wider geographic regions and serving the global community.
